Hiking Agnes Lake (Teahouse) at Lake Louise

We had a wonderful day at Lake Louise: beautiful weather, and an enjoyable (but "challenging") hike up to the Teahouse--lots of great views along the way.

Bow River

Dave and Mom and Dad Brewin spent a lovely (but overcast!) day on the river in a rented raft. The fall colours are at their peak along the river...

Calgary Weekend

Dave and I took advantage of one of the first nice "fall" days to ride along the river near our house...Not quite as challenging as the Trans-Rockies, but fun nonetheless...

Hillsdale visit

After a few days in Muskoka, we continued on to Hillsdale for a visit with the family. We are so glad and so lucky that friends and family have been so good about making time for us when we are in town! Nadine: getting cuter all the time!

Muskoka Weekend

We took advantage of a seat sale to make a quick trip back to Ontario for the Labour Day weekend. Luckily the weather cooperated, and while it was only about 10c in Calgary, we had sunshine and 25-27c all weekend in Ontario.
We started in Muskoka for a few days at Karen's family cottage--somehow it doesn't seem like summer unless we've had a chance to sit out on the dock, and share stories around the dining room table. We had a great visit, and are so looking forward to their wedding in November! Tara also joined us, and it was great to catch up with her (and Dave loved driving her Mini too!). Dave and Tara
